 Environment management system

Porto Petroli di Genova S.p.A. is endowed with an environment management system certified under the regulation UNI EN ISO 14001, in order to grant the respect of the regulations in force as well as a constant attention to environment protection problems.

Prevention against accidental dumping of oil products in the sea is ensured by the checks planned by our safety survey service, by the inspections regularly performed by our staff as well as by the presence of equipment such as loading arms and our break away coupling system.

Moreover an anti-pollution and depollution device exists, which is active 24 hours on 24, composed of ecological boats equipped with “containment system of spots” (breakdown) and a hydrocarbons collection system, by tug-boats and by other equipped vehicles.
