STEPS TO BE TAKEN TO SUBMIT REPORTS OR SOCIAL /ETHICAL COMPLAINTS PROCEDURES TO LODGE APPEALS TO THE RINA / SAAS NOTIFICATIONS /SOCIAL OR ETHICAL COMPLAINTS
Explained below please find the actions to be performed in case Porto Petroli’s staff means to report one’s concerns or to complain about events or behaviours concerning any potential non-conformity about corporate plocy as regards social responsibility or the SA8000 requirements.
Any written notification /complaint can be drawn up by filling the proper form (M0501 – “Notification Report” - avaliable near the collection box) or any other means provided that it is suitable to the purpose. The same notification /complaint can alse be compiled anonymously and it is to be put into the notification/complaints collection box or directly delivered to the Social Responsibility Management Officer (Mr S. Garré). The General Management commits itself to undertake any necessary eventual remedial action in case the reported notifications /complaints prove the existance of effective social or ethical non-conformities.
Any verbal notification /complaint can be reported to the Workers Social Responsibility Representative (Ms F. Cannea – at the Supplies Office). The fore-told notifications /complaints will be forwarded to the Social Responsibility Management Officer (Mr S. Garré), and in a second time to the General Management, ensuring people’s anonymity if requested during the report.
LODGEMENT OF APPEALS TO RINA/SAAS
Explained below please find the actions to be undertaken in order to lodge a formal appeal against Porto Petroli di Genova S.p.a. in case its staff members believe not to have received a satisfying reply to any lodged complaints on behalf of our company. The appeal must be lodged in the form of a written document and there must be enclosed documented evidence of the violation of the regulation requirement. To that purpose the staff members can request their Representative’s assistance as concerns the SA8000 Regulation. The appellant’s anonymity is always ensured unless he or she expressly requires that his or her identity is revealed.
