- Information documents: concerning the ship, its cargo and the foreseen commercial operations
- check list: making a list of the checks and the inspections to be performed
- Events registration sheets: reporting the dates of all perfomed operations

Capitolo 1) SHIPS INFORMATION – SHIP PARTICULARS
The items in these information documents concern all general indentifying elements of a ship.
These documents, duly complied, will have to be submitted at least five days before the ship's arrival at port.

Capitolo 2 ) CARGO DETAILS

Capitolo 4) MOORING EQUIPMENT
The items in this information document concern mooring conditions and emplyed equipments conditions.
Repeated controls during commercial operations are foreseen in order to monitor the mooring correctness if the ship's trim and the weather conditions change.

Capitolo 5) FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT
The before mentioned check list is aimed at the inspection of fire-fighting equipment, essential to grant security during the stay in port.

Capitolo 6) INERT GAS SYSTEM
The content of the check list regards the control of the operating status as well as of the conducting state of the inert gas system, referred in particular to the control of critical parameters and to the monitoring system.

Capitolo 7) POLLUTION AND PREVENTION
The check list regards all respects of prevention of accidental pollution of the water surrounding the ship during the cargo transfer, ballast and bunkering operations.
It is compiled under the responsibility of the Ship's Command.

Capitolo 8.1) SAFETY MANAGEMENT
The check list content regards the control and the preservation of safety conditions during the cargo trasfer operations.
The items which can be directly verified are listed in chapter 8 indicating the inspection date; as for the other items which need staff's involvement, in order to streamline the procedure, it must refer to the corresponding items of the Safety Check List, compiled by the Shift's Manager in collaboration with the ship's command.

Capitolo 8.2) CREW MANAGEMENT
The information document drawn up on the basis of the crew list, includes all crew's professional qualifications and all the responsibilities linked to the cargo hadnling operations.
This sheet is compiled on the basis of the information supllied by the ship's Command.
Capitolo 9) CRUDE OIL WASHING
The content of the check list regards the control of the operating status as well as of the conducting state of the COW plant (Crude Oil Washing plant).
The plant ascertainments are performed before and during the COW operations, by employing the reports enclosed to the authorization by the Maritime Authority as referring documentation.
The check list is compiled under the responsibility of the Ship's Command.
